Climate change conference Sponsored by Rutgers University and the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve

Scientists, environmental experts and government officials will meet Thursday in Little Egg Harbor Township for a conference on how coastal communities can deal with climate change.
Sponsored by Rutgers University and the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve, participants will review the latest scientific information about what effects climate change could have locally and what counties and municipalties can do about it.
The conference is scheduled to be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Sea Oaks Golf Course.
