The Cousteau Weekends are back for 2019.
Every Saturday for the next eight weeks we will put a Cousteau documentary online, accessible freely for all for one week, the films will then only be available for Cousteau Friends to access at any time through the Friend’s deck. For the Calypso adventure, we have specially chosen 8 episodes for you that best illustrate the adventure of the Cousteau team aboard their legendary boat: the Calypso.
Deeper, Further, Longer
Our first film of the Cousteau Weekend: Calypso Adventure is “Deeper, Further, Longer.” A film that summarizes the adventure of Captain Cousteau from his point of view. From his beginnings with the French navy, through the acquisition of Calypso and the many innovations that allowed the Cousteau adventure to exist in all its splendor without forgetting Cousteau Captain Planet, who took charge of the future of the future generations.
This film tells the story of a life, a man and a boat that allowed us to see our world in another way. A perfect synopsis before going into the details of this epic journey.
