Cousteau Weekend: Voyage to the Edge of the World

Thank you for joining us for our #CousteauWeekend film of the week.

COUSTEAU will be bringing you a #CousteauWeekend film every week during the COVID-19 outbreak.  Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO website and through your national and local public health authority.

This week our film is Jacques Cousteau’s last feature length documentary:

Voyage to the Edge of the World

Voyage to the Edge of the World is the story of a human adventure. Cousteau, his son Philippe and the Cousteau team onboard Calypso head out into the great white continent, Antarctica.

The last of Cousteau’s feature length films, this film tells the story of Cousteau’s first discovery of Antarctica and the beauty it holds. The long and perilous journe through the ice made this one of Calypso’s and Cousteau’s most dangerous missions. Equipped with a hot air balloon, a helicopter and the famous diving saucer Denise, the world would get to discover Antarctica in ways never before seen.

See you next week for a new film.
